Doodle dumping~ I fought for a while on what exactly would come of this (which is not much apparently), but I’m fairly…satisfied, I suppose, with the end result. Just trying to get back in the groove of things by forcing myself to draw. I would like to do a full-scale painting(?) — scratch that, just piece — at some point, but I’m afraid I don’t have that sort of commitment to approach something that like that.
Also, I should try drawing in the traditional manner again. It would be a shame to lose that too.
I love James McAvoy. Dearly. But I have not been staring at him nearly enough to draw a competent Charles Xavier. sighsigh, crycry. I guess I’ll keep on going.
not gonna lie, but i have deep love in my heart for that handsome shark, Michael Fassbender.
“You are the perfect example of the OCA2 mutation. It’s a very groovy mutation, you can’t knock it. Mutation, right? Mutation took us from single-celled organisms to being the dominant form of reproductive life on this planet. Infinite variations with each generation all. Through. Mutation. And you, my friend, have a very groovy mutation.”
I am kind of freaking out because the colors on my netbook are different than the colors on my desktop — which is what I worked on when drawing these. So now I don’t know which colors are “true.” @___@ Gahhhh. The colors on my netbook are a little less saturated and washed-out, so I am going to pretend my desktop is correct this round.
ETA: These are three characters from a universe I’ve been imagining for a very long while.
Been a long while since I’ve updated at all. Just a progress shot today. Just etching away at this one day by day. With any luck (and motivation), I’ll actually finish.
